Valuables and damage policy
How we look after your property and what happens if something goes wrong.
Valuables
- Please put away cash, jewellery, keys, small electronics and anything fragile or sentimental before we arrive.
- We don't move or handle valuables, and we can't be responsible for items left out in the areas being cleaned.
Insurance and reporting damage
- We hold public liability insurance.
- If you think something has been damaged, message us within 48 hours with photos. We'll look into it straight away and put it right where we're responsible.
Pre-existing condition
We're not responsible for problems that were already there or that come from the condition of the item or surface, including:
- loose, broken or badly fitted fixtures, handles, blinds and fittings
- worn, chipped or damaged paintwork, worktops, tiles and flooring
- sun-faded, threadbare or previously damaged fabrics and carpets
- sealant, grout or surfaces that are already cracked, stained or perished
- items that aren't colourfast or suitable for wet cleaning, where we've told you the risk and you've asked us to go ahead
Furniture
- We move small, light items with care and put them back afterwards.
- We don't move heavy furniture, electronics or anything that needs dismantling. We clean around them.
